Step #12 – Rest

You’ve worked hard over the past few months. Now it’s time to take a break.

Make sure you’re getting enough sleep, at least 8 hours each night. This gives your body the time it needs to properly digest and detoxify.

Take note of when you are doing too much. You need time to process everything that is going on inside and outside of your body. Slow down.

Find a love for the word “NO.” This is something that people have a hard time doing these days. They suffer from FOMO or Fear Of Missing Out. They also fear that their credibility will suffer if they say No. It’s the most powerful word, as far as I’m concerned. The word no creates boundaries. It allows others to know how far is too far to push you.

Go on a vacation, even if it’s just an overnight trip.

Unplug. Create a shut-down time each day or better yet, unplug for 24 hours or even longer.

Use this time to reward yourself and reflect on how far you’ve come.
